This week’s beer find of the week comes to us courtesy of Elmer Sudds. Not only is Sudds our only active hand-pump, but John also has some other great beers on tap and in bottles. It was tough this week to just choose one beer since John is premiering Breaker Brewing Company’s Goldies Strawberry Blond & their new I Love PA (IPA)…these alone are worth the ride over to Sudds….BUT add in Maredsous 8 and Brasserie Ellezelloise Hercule Stout and you’re all set…but wait…as if all that isn't enough…be sure to try Bear Republic Racer-5 on hand-pump. Great beers and all at our original local beer-bar, Elmer Sudds. Don’t delay…they won’ t last forever…

The true beer find (for me) is the Hercule stout. It's probably the most refined Russian Imperial stout I've ever tasted. Makes entries like Stone's seem a bit overblown in comparison. Some may not like it for that reason though, as it doesn't have the filling mouthfeel, nor viscosity of the Stone, but the taste is absolutely spot on.
